Milky Way Mosaic
Taken near Uluru in Australia. Mosaic of 18 images, 15 seconds, ISO 3200. Higher-res image here. This is the full expanse of the Milky Way in the Southern Sky going from Sagittarius on the left, to Crux in the middle to Puppis on the right. Both Magellenic Clouds are visible. In addition, the Southern Cross and Alpha and Beta Centauri are visible in the car windshield.
